Ok, so after taking up cycling last year, I was persuaded (forced by peer pressure ;)) into taking part in my first Triathlon in June of this year in Woodhall Spa. It's a sprint distance Tri so it's 400m in the outdoor pool they have in the village, 24km on a bike and a 5km run. 

Whilst it will be a great achievement just to make it to the finish in one piece, I wanted to take it a step further an have set myself a goal of Sub 85 minutes, which isn't going to be easy. 

As such I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan to help give me an extra reason to push myself. 

Most of you are probably aware of the work Macmillan do, but it's a charity that's close to my heart having help care for various family members whilst they were trying to fight such a horrible disease. 

If you are able to, please donate what you can, no donation is too small! I appreciate times are tough for most right now, so I'll be massively grateful for anything I can raise. 

Please note that doing the triathlon will probably mean having to wear some pretty ridiculous skin-tight clothing which I'm not looking forward to - so there's reason to donate right there. (there will no doubt be photo evidence of this post race too :()
